Call for abstract submission and meeting registration
Please click on the “Registration” button at the top right of the page to access the registration site for abstract submission and meeting registration page (the time may change slightly). All information entered on the registration site will be encrypted for information security purposes.

- If you are a regular member, student regular member, or senior member of Geochemical Society of Japan (GSJ), please log in using your membership number and password registered on the Geochemical Society of Japan member-only page.
- If you are a member of societies (Chinese Society for Mineralogy Petrology and Geochemistry, European Association of Geochemistry, Geochemical Society, Geological Society Located in Taipei, and Geological Society of Korea) that have signed MOUs with the GSJ, a co-organizing society member, or a GSJ provisional member, please first register your email address and obtain a web reception number (*Please use the email address of your affiliated institution for registration whenever possible).
- A web reception number (Nxxxx) will be sent to the registered address. If you do not receive it after waiting about 10 minutes, you may have made a registration error, so please register again. If you obtain multiple web reception numbers as a result, please use only the latest number (the one with the largest Nxxxx number).
- When logging in, please enter the Web receipt number and the registered e-mail address, and enter information such as affiliation, contact information, and address to complete the registration.
- The registration fee must be paid online by credit card. Card information is required at the time of registration (see below). If you are an invited speaker, the session convenor will send you a coupon code for free participation. Please be sure to use the coupon on the participation application screen.
- Non-members of The Geochemical Society of Japan and the co-organizing society are welcome to participate and give presentations.
- Please create your abstract according to the template and submit the PDF file on the registration page. Abstract length is limited to 1 page for regular attendees and to 2 pages for award, invited, and keynote speakers.
- You can modify or replace the title, summary and abstract until the submission deadline, but you will not be able to make changes after the deadline.
- When registering for a presentation, please provide a Japanese or English summary of approximately 200 to 400 characters. These will be posted as abstracts on the abstract collection page (Japanese/English) created on J-STAGE, so please be careful when creating them (please also include an English abstract if possible). In addition to the summary, there is also a field for entering text for searching on J-STAGE, so please enter the text of the abstract.
- Submitted information of presentations and abstracts will be published on the meeting website after the application deadline, and will be published on J-STAGE after the meeting.
- Each person can register one oral presentation and up to two poster presentations. Also, if you select “Either oral or poster”, you can register up to 3 presentations
- After registering your presentation, you will be given a presentation receipt number (PRxxxx).
Payment of the registration fee
- Please pay the registration fee online by credit card.
- Please check your credit card statement as it will be written as “コクサイブンケンジムセンター”.
- It is also possible to apply on behalf of the applicant using a card with a different name than the applicant.
- The receipt can be downloaded as a PDF after completing your application.
- Please note that we cannot accept refunds after application. Please pay close attention to the classification of members and non-members when registering and making payments.

- Members refer to members of the Geochemical Society of Japan, co-organizing societies, and societies that have signed MOUs with the GSJ (Chinese Society for Mineralogy Petrology and Geochemistry, European Association of Geochemistry, Geochemical Society, Geological Society Located in Taipei, and Geological Society of Korea). Those who have applied to join the Geochemical Society of Japan just before the application date and have not yet been issued a membership number, as well as those who have already applied for membership and have chosen to join from the new academic year (August onwards), will also be considered temporary members/students. You can select your membership category.
- Registration fee is free for students who are undergraduate students or younger and are only attending the lecture. However, please register by the deadline.
- The collection of abstracts will only be posted as a PDF document on the online annual meeting website, and will not be distributed or sold in printed booklet or electronic recording media.
Cancel presentation
- If you wish to cancel after the presentation application deadline, please contact the annual meeting secretariat (see below) and the presentation session convenor (session composition list) by email. However, please note that refunds are not possible.
Student presentation award
- Student members who wish to be judged for the Student Presentation Award should select the relevant item when applying for a presentation.
- If you wish to be judged the Student Presentation Award and have not yet completed the membership procedures for the Geochemical Society of Japan, please complete the membership procedures as soon as possible. For information, please visit the GSJ’s website.
- The student presentation awards ceremony will be held on-site during the closing ceremony (September 23rd). Student members who have entered are welcome to attend the closing ceremony.
- If you have any questions regarding presentation registration/participation registration, please contact the meeting secretariat by email. We may not be able to accommodate your request just before the deadline. Please contact us with plenty of time to spare.

- The banquet will be held on September 19th (Thursday).
- Due to the capacity of the venue, we may not be able to accept applications on the day of the event.
